Abstract

In current physics there are two Natural constants with meanings that remain unresolved: the Cosmological and the Fine Structure constants. Both are related to the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. Once the meaning of each one is known and the relationship that exist between them, we propose a new system of units based on the Spacetime Structure. In this alternative unit system to our S.I., that we will call Structural Units or S.U., matter and energy and their interactions are described as different Spacetime configurations, where Natural constants can be calculated by algebra between the three pure numbers π, φ and α, suggesting a deep underlying structure and unity in the laws of Nature, with profound implications for our understanding of physics and mathematics.
